Please can you make a 64-bit ISO that I can use to install all this stuff on my local box?
I can't really afford the money to subscribe to Amazon privately but I have a pretty powerful i7 machine at home with tons of RAM and disk. I would love to be able to just install your Ubuntu distro on it to save myself the pain of tracking down all the 64-bit packages manually and setting them up by hand. Any chance you might offer this one day? If you do already (I spent hours searching for an ISO) could you post a download link?

You also now have the option of installing Ubuntu 64-bit then running this script:
https://github.com/chapmanb/bcbb/raw/master/ec2/biolinux/utils/bootstrap.sh
This triggers a build using the same rules as for Cloud BioLinux. It's experimental but worked when I last tested it last.

The next release of Bio-Linux (which the JCVI image is derived from) will be 64-bit:
